Sometimes it can help to talk to someone who is not a friend or family member. By coming to counselling it is possible to explore feelings and problems in a safe space, with someone who will act professionally and respect your need for confidentiality. You can talk without having to worry about the effect of what you are saying on the person listening.
Counselling can help with many issues including abuse, bereavement, trauma, alcohol and substance abuse, relationship problems, phobias, panic attacks, loss of identity and depression. Our counsellors have a range of experience of working with different issues with all ages, including children. We also have a Pets as Therapy dog, Tilly, who is in our centre on a Monday and who can, if the client chooses, come into some client sessions.
