Individual donations

We’re deeply grateful for the generosity of our donors and supporters who do so much to raise both awareness and money for the Trust. We simply couldn’t do what we do without your help. If you’re able to make a donation to help us continue with our mission, we’ll make sure every penny makes a difference.

Who we support

Adults

Our adult counselling service starts with a confidential assessment so each individual can be placed with the most appropriate therapist. They’re then provided with weekly counselling sessions with most clients receiving up to six months’ therapy. Six-weekly reviews ensure our clients continue to receive the right support for their needs.

Our service aims to prevent people going into crisis and promote psychological wellbeing by providing an accessible service that is open to all. We’re proud to support the full diversity of community members: age, gender, sexuality, disability, ethnicity and cultural background (with a limited but growing range of services offered in other languages).

Children and young people

All children and young people referred to the Trust receive an individual assessment followed by a tailored plan of evidence-based support which includes talking therapy, play therapy and dance and movement therapy. We have a purpose-built play therapy room where qualified counsellors use play and art materials to help young people deal with issues including abuse, anxiety, attachment issues, loss and bereavement.

We also work closely with local schools to support vulnerable children and aim to reduce stigma and promote awareness of mental health and wellbeing through both school assemblies and talks at external organisations. For example, we’ve developed strong links with counselling and therapy training providers such as Goldsmiths College.
